About Our Yoga classes

All of our yoga classes include traditional breathing practices, movement/postures, elements of meditation and relaxation. Classes can offer different themes and include a variety of postures. You are not obliged or forced to do any movement with your body that does not work or ‘feel right’ for you. All of our teachers are trained to offer variations. It is important for you to feel at home in your body and develop your own unique practice. Our teachers are here to offer safe boundaries.

Every day is different, every breath is a new opportunity to start again.

Flow & Restore Yoga

Gentle hatha style yoga flow, followed by restorative poses held using the support of blocks, bolsters & blankets. This class offers a balance of gentle, rhythmic movement connected to the breath, followed by deeply restful and grounding postures.

Suitable for all levels / Beginners welcome

Yin Yang Yoga

Yang to Yin is a class to promote connection with your body in both movement & stillness. We will always begin gently, taking time to connect to your breathing & yourself in the present moment.

The Yang part of the class will be opening the physical body to allow a free flow of energy, moving your body with awareness & connection to sensation. The Yin part of the session will be about dropping deeper into the body with the space you created through movement. Holding the body in the shape of the pose for 3-5mins, stretching into the connective tissue & stimulating the meridian lines.

Suitable for all levels and abilities

Hatha Yoga

A traditional style of yoga that focuses on building strength, increasing mobility and developing balance through mindful, controlled movement. We will connect with the breath and end our class with some deep stretches and a calming meditation.

Beginners are most welcome, the class can be taken at your own pace.

Restorative Yoga

Practiced at a very slow pace with gentle movement and your body supported with yoga props and blankets. Poses are held for longer periods of time in a comfortable position. This class focuses on nervous system regulation, grounding, inward focus and relaxation. It is especially beneficial for physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Suitable for all levels, beginners and over 65’s.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is a dynamic form of yoga linking the individual postures with breath and based on the ashtanga yoga system. Each movement is linked with your breath through a flow of postures. All poses are alignment based and can be adjusted for various abilities.

Suitable for all levels / Beginners welcome

Yin Yoga

Yin is a slower style of yoga which involves holding poses for 3-5 minutes to allow the body to open up in a soft, patient and gentle way. Working into the deeper connective tissue(fascia) around the muscles and joints to improve flexibility, health and vitality of the whole body.

Suitable for all levels and abilities.
